The Italian Job in Walford?

No, we’re not talking a bank robbery, gold ingots, a nail-biting Mini chase through the Italian city of Turin or even the celebrated actor Michael Cain, we’re talking pizzas; or more precisely Mill Race pizzas.

With summer finally on the horizon, Walford pub, The Mill Race, is launching a new weekly event and it all kicks off this bank holiday.

Starting this Sunday from 4pm - 8pm, visitors to the Mill Race will be able to order handmade pizzas cooked to perfection in the pub’s outside wood-fired pizza oven. Freshly prepared in-house by The Mill Race’s talented chefs, guests can enjoy a range of exciting recipes for the excellent price of £10 each or two for £18.

There’ll be live music from popular local artists Andy Margrett and Steve Edmunds from 4pm - 6pm and with the weather predicted to start hotting-up at the weekend, there’ll be opportunity to take the celebrations outdoors without the need for a brolly or raincoat!

Can’t make it Sunday? The Mill Race is open on bank holiday from 12 midday offering its regular lunchtime menu plus roasts and then serving pizzas again 4pm - 8pm. The pizza nights are then planned to continue each Sunday throughout the summer.

Bring your friends, bring your family and take advantage of the good weather we’re being promised this bank holiday.

The Mill Race is open the following hours over bank holiday:

Saturday 5th: 12pm – 10pm
